Project Time: 2016-2018

Design concept: The design inspiration for this project comes from Chinese classical gardens. Through understanding and analyzing the current situation of non-traditional villages, the renovation design is carried out by utilizing the village space and the surrounding natural environment. It offers both external viewing and outdoor recreation, bringing the external natural environment into the internal environment.

Internally, "garden construction and courtyard enclosure" are carried out, with the design of "tile garden" and "Snow view" scenes, and the roof is designed as an independent and shared platform. The attempt is to introduce new modern significance to the northern rural courtyards through design and renovation - they not only conform to the lives of modern people but also possess the values of traditional gardens such as sightseeing and recreation.
