Project Introduction:The MOYA Hotel project was awarded the Silver Award in the Hotel & Homestay category of the 2023 IDG Awards.Nestled within the Yangkou Scenic Area of Laoshan Mountain in Qingdao,

Shandong Province, China, this project stands as a benchmark upscale homestay. The design precisely targets a young clientele in pursuit of exceptional experiences, translating the travel ideal of

"sleeping well in a new place" into a quality space with service standards comparable to those of high-star hotels.

The core design challenge and greatest highlight lay in redefining the relationship between people, architecture, and the ocean. Moving beyond conventional wave-defense thinking, we creatively

designed a unique "bell-mouth" pathway. This pathway winds its way from the interior of the building directly into the sea. It not only grants guests a "zero-distance" immersive experience with the

tides from their rooms but also transforms the daily ebb and flow into a dynamic, living art installation.
