The Tropical Rainforest is an executive apartment residential development project, set in a vast garden setting that evokes the landscape of a nature reserve. This residential development is located at 3 Choa-ChuKang Avenue, covering an area of 17,590 square meters, and blends perfectly with the lush tropical environment.

A key concept in landscape design is to create a beautiful landscape space to protect and promote our native plants, which have gradually been marginalized due to urbanization and the extensive use of exotic plants. In Singapore, urban development has led to the loss of natural rainforest habitats. Although urban greening is very beneficial, it also exacerbates this problem. Over the years, the continuous introduction of exotic ornamental plants has gradually phased out local ones

Driven by this issue, the revival of native plants, such as Calophylum Inophyllum trees and Dillenia Suffruticosa shrubs, has played a central role in the landscape design of the "rainforest". This concept centers around providing homeowners with a landscape for relief, entertainment and relaxation, and also offering a sanctuary for Singapore's native plants.

The main theme of landscape design lies in showcasing the diversity of native plants. The focus is on using native flora to attract local fauna in order to revitalize the forest corridor. Landscapes have also played a role in the reconstruction of Singapore's native plant populations. They will be sheltered in this enclave, just as it provides a garden for the homeowners.
The inspiration for the landscape design comes from the nearby nature reserve. Referring to nature reserves within nature reserves, the landscape design explores the idea of similar vegetation and landscape topography to nature reserves while perfectly integrating with apartment buildings. Throughout the entire residential development process, allowing visitors to interact with local plant species can enhance the appreciation of Singapore's local ecosystem. This design evokes the surroundings of a forest, with sidewalks leading to various micro-environments that offer rest, entertainment, education and relaxation.
The unique canopy deck is cantilevered over various parts of the ground floor pool, offering an excellent canopy walkway experience. The Canopy Deck covers the roof of the parking lot and the clubhouse, featuring a sun lounge area and flower beds for children's playgrounds and gathering places, accessible from the ground via a spiral staircase. This deck forms a cave-like structure, concealing the hot spring pool below. Multi-level landscapes introduce an exciting and unique way to experience the landscape from different perspectives, such as the canopy walkways in nature reserves. This experience was ultimately commemorated by the surveillance tower, which honors the eagle that lives on one of the trees in the site.

Biological pools and biological channels create an alluring micro-environment, providing opportunities for education. Ponds have self-sustaining functions and can serve as natural water runoff filters. Ecologically speaking, it performs two important functions. First of all, the various animals and plants living together in the pond maintain the food chain to ensure a healthy water environment. Secondly, they provide habitats for various animals and help re-establish ecological biodiversity during development. In the event of a heavy downpour, biological wastewater can capture and filter surface runoff and then be discharged into the drainage system. In addition to serving as a visual treat, the directional signs in the pond and the biological passages in the garden also help educate residents about these ecosystems.

The rainforest landscape beautification project is a clever combination of elements, creating a unique rainforest experience for urban residents. The landscape design successfully provided the homeowners with leisure and entertainment, while also offering a sanctuary for Singapore's native plants. This development project also features a 3-meter-high green wall, providing residents with a strong green symbol, as well as rainforests and flowering trees. The 7th, 12th and 17th floors of the condominium also include gardens, which feature sky terraces and outdoor dining areas, so greenery is never out of reach of the homeowners.

The Paterson Collection not only offers homeowners exquisite design landscapes to be proud of, but also provides eco-friendly garden designs for the houses in the resort club. It offers a lifestyle quality suitable for modern urban life.
