Conceptual planning and design for the landscape of Luoyang Riverside Road

In recent years, urban transportation in Luoyang City has developed rapidly. However, with the economic growth and the expansion of the city, problems such as traffic congestion and inconvenient travel have become increasingly prominent, seriously affecting the normal life of the people and the development of the city. Giving priority to the development of urban public transportation and improving the urban living environment are inevitable demands for promoting sustainable urban development. To alleviate the increasingly severe traffic pressure in the east-west direction of the urban area, with the organization of the government, the active cooperation of various departments and residents, the section of Binhe North Road (from the third phase to Yubo Road) will be further opened to the east to relieve the traffic pressure on Jiudu West Road and make it a major east-west traffic artery running through the city.

Binhe Road is located in the central part of Luoyang City. The design scope of this project spans Xigong District, the old urban area and Chanhe District. The construction of the road surface is basically completed. The main interfaces on both sides of the road include farmland, residential areas, factories, culverts, park green Spaces, educational and research facilities, and urban commercial areas.
