Landscape Planning and Design of the Fourth Branch Canal in Luoyang City

During the development of Luoyang city, two important urban axes have been formed. The north-south axis, namely the historical and cultural exhibition axis (from 邙山 to yique), forms the royal axis landscape belt with the yingtianmen site to dingdingmen site as the core section, which is the central axis of luoyang city. The east-west axis and the natural landscape display axis (Luo River) form the Luo River ecological landscape belt.

The site is located on an auxiliary axis of the north-south axis of Luoyang City. This axis connects Luoyang High-Speed Railway Station, Sizhi Canal Green Space, Luoyang Municipal Government and Municipal Square, and Sui and Tang Dynasty Ruins Park from south to north. This project is located in an important section that connects Luoyang High-speed Railway Station and Luoyang Municipal Government. The north side of the base is Luoyang Longmen High-Speed Railway Station. The current land use is classified as public green space in the urban master plan. The east and west sides are respectively commercial and residential land. The surrounding communities that have been built or are under construction include Quanshun Residential Area, Zijin Scenic Line, Fuyang International Garden, Jianye Longcheng, etc.
